Santa coming to Queens’ MarketPlace
Free photos with Santa kick off the holiday season at the Queens’ MarketPlace from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 27 at The Studio.
From the Friday after Thanksgiving and continuing every Saturday through Dec. 19, “Kanakaloka,” welcomes keiki to the front porch of his favorite beach house hideaway. Created especially for the holidays by Queens’ MarketPlace staff, the setting features a sandy beach, surfboards, slippers and star-sprinkled coconut palms.
Santa also will be available for photos for a $5 per photo donation to the Hawaii Island Food Basket on Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, 12 and 19. The photos with “Kanakaloka” will be taken in The Studio — an air-conditioned function space adjacent to the Queens’ MarketPlace Food Court.
